Spring Loaded aka "Sam" is a Connemara/Thoroughbred. He qualified and competed in the USDF regional championships in 2011 this year at second level by one of our students with scores in the high 60's. Sam is now starting his third level work. Sam is awfully cute and has the sturdy conformation and constitution as is typical of the Connemara breed. He is not a beginners ride as he has larger high quality gaits. He would be an excellent choice for the rider with solid basics wanting to experience second and third level movements and is an excellent choice for the serious rider who wants to develop a better feel for back to front connection and correct development of collection. Riders over 6 ft tall or 170 pounds would not be suitable for Sam.
